As a teenager, I was so insecure about my hip dips. I was so worried I’d never have that luscious feminine curve that looked so good in body con dresses or Jeans or just anything. All I had were skinny legs with an inverted triangle between both legs and hip dips, no tits, and a whole lot of acne.
Once, I called my hip dips angle brackets to amuse myself. Evidently, my self-esteem was in the gutter. I found love with baggy outfits, sweatpants, and XXL shirts. My mum was indeed horrified and mildly curious about what her daughter had morphed into. She would make not-so-subtle remarks about my looks that really got to me and not in a good way.
I tried to find comfort on the Internet and that turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. Thank God for the existence of apps like Pinterest which was a huge blessing to me. I would spend time searching for “hot girls with hip dips” pins or how to boost your self-esteem posts. And I guess in more ways than one, the compounded knowledge helped me a lot to accept myself and be myself.
As a teenager, my ideal self was particularly hot pretty irresistible beauty. A slow charming smile, a hearty laugh, beautiful bright eyes. Sexy curves, lip gloss, mascara eyeliner, and a stunning hairdo. The kind of girl that would compel an artist to draw or write.
Regardless of what I was in my head, nothing of the sort in real life. My insecurities were laced with reinforcements from a traumatic childhood. I didn’t feel pretty, attractive, or hot. Never even felt like my lips could look pretty in glosses. Lame desperation to be identified as a beautiful person. This led to an obsession with Pinterest and wikiHow. Fashion tips and tricks, overcoming insecurities, and becoming attractive. Hot girls with hip dips.
Rather sadly, my interests were more on getting rid of my hip dips. My belief was that they made me look ugly compared to the more curvy girls in school. I tried so many exercises to naturally get rid of my hip dips. But none of that stuff ever worked for me. I was probably not doing it right.
Eventually, I had to accept that there wasn’t much I could do about getting rid of my hip dips except surgery. I also knew I wouldn’t do surgery because I enjoyed the thought of being a natural hottie.
I made a mess out of myself so many times and my self-consciousness didn’t help. If I dressed up out of my comfort zone, the questioning looks from my family who were so accustomed to seeing me look “homeless”, made me extremely squeamish and self-conscious.
I’m in my 20s now and I definitely not claiming to have my self-image is at peak performance because I know I should do better lol, but I’m trying my best every single day because that’s what growth is.

Hip dips are what appear to be a “dip” in your hip area, on the structural (skeleton) level. Kind of like an inverted slop along your hips. Some people’s dips are more obvious than others.

There’s nothing you can do to naturally get rid of your hip dips. You may choose surgery or inject fillers, those are very common now.
You look good in your body. Hip dips are beautiful. Whenever the images of my “hot-girl-hip-dips” search came through, I saw serval sexy-looking girls. I had this ideal picture in my head of what I wanted to look like, and I was so happy to know they’re sexy people in the world with hip dips. I changed my focus to achieving my peak hip dip hot girl figure.
Everyone has an ideal avatar in their head of what they’d want to look like. Be realistic about your ideal avatar though. Except you want to get botched. Your ideal person should be you at the end of the day, what makes you happy.

Prepare to make personal changes:
You need to prepare to make some personal changes and sacrifices to embrace yourself and achieve your peak body.
It’s important to know that the term peak body is quite subjective. What defines a peak body even among people with hip dips matters from person to person. Personal changes can include workouts, dietary changes, lifestyle changes, etc.
Adjust your social media algorithm:
If you spend some or most of your time on social media it’s best to only follow personalities and pages that support the person you’re trying to be, the things you love and enjoy
Somehow social media, especially Instagram for instance, responds to the data you give into the app. Follow beauty influencers or personalities, pages, and brands with your kind of ideal look and beauty standard. Social media shows me a student side to hip dips: very beautiful and in some cases thick women.
Have patience with yourself:
Be patient with yourself. Sometimes all your body needs are growing, some people’s growth comes later than others. Your body knows how to look with hip dips, it might take time but your peak body should be a journey, enjoy it with patience and do your own part while waiting.
Invest in a source of income:
Chiefly, you need money to actually achieve your dream of getting a banging body. YOU KNOW it’s expensive to look good even with good genes. If you’re going to do anything to yourself, surgically or naturally, you’ll need money and a continuous source of it. And to be very honest money just solves a lot of problems and it makes some people feel better about their bodies.
Invest in your food
Eat healthy foods. Eat responsibly for your body’s sake. For the sake of your goals, as much as you should. Cut out junk, and eat more muscle-building food, vegetables, and fruits. You can consult a dietician if you have the extra money.
The secret to an ideal body really relies on your diet. Sometimes. Personally, I wanted to have thick thighs with hip dips, I loved the aesthetic and wished it righteously upon myself. I changed my diet to 180• to achieve my ideal body.
Invest in your mental health.
You can’t be completely healthy if you completely abandon your state of mind. Pay attention to yourself. Get stunned by yourself. Get to communicate with yourself to help with relations with other people, you can’t give from an import cup you know
Invest in your wardrobe.
Find what makes you comfortable and flatters you. It doesn’t have to be trendy it just has to be what you like. Spend money on purposeful outfits, outfits you love yourself in when you try on in the mirror. Make time to research what clothes fit your kind of body and what don’t. Have fun finding your style. Your body is perfect as long as it’s healthy.
Invest in a fitness plan.
You can choose workouts to minimize your hip dips. Although I’m not really sure they work because they never worked for me. From my research, however, I discovered people with hip dips often tend to have very hot bubble butts.
So I wish a generous bubble butt on everyone reading this. It will come when it will come. Some of us are late bloomers. The aesthetic is very pleasing from a back view. So invest in a fitness plan, get your body right, toned, flat tummy, or however you want yourself to look.
The goal at the end of the day is to do things that make you happy and make you feel love for yourself. Most things are enjoyed after an inevitable wait.
Take care of yourself all around. You don’t need to subject yourself to more than you can handle as change is a very personal thing.
