Recently, I had a major health scare that stemmed from an ovarian cyst. Since then I have tried my best to be more careful of my living habits and pattern. While I appreciate medicine and the advancement of science, I am by no means a medical practitioner.
The side effects of all the antibiotics which were used to cure me medically left my immune system in shambles. My physical and mental state was compromised.
Decided to look into nature, look inward, and change from the inside, from within myself. The first thing I found out is: you are what you eat

HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE PEEL AND GINGER TEA (DRY METHOD)
I just tried this method over the holiday, just experimentally. Inspired by the need to create something that would last for a longer time and also that I could use at will. Thus I took advantage of the extremely hot sun and made a powdered/dry version of this pine apple peel and ginger tea. Remember to never overdo it.
What you need;
- A drying wrack or food dehydrator
- Blender/crusher
- Air-tight Mason Jar
- Tea bags (optional) Buy on amazon for $9.99
- Clean dry bowl
- Measuring spoon
- Tea set
Steps to make it;
- After thoroughly cleaning your pineapple and unpeeled ginger.
- Peel the pineapple and set the peels aside. Cut or pull apart the peels into smaller pieces
- Shred up the ginger without peeling.
- If you’re sun drying, place on your drying wrack and directly in the sun every day for at least 1 week/ 7 days. Remember to take in when the sun is down.
- However, if you’re using a food dehydrator, dry them thoroughly till crisp
- Crush/Grind them roughly together. It has a nice aroma together at this point.
- Pour into a clean and dry bowl.
- Using a 1-tablespoon, add a tablespoon each into teabags and store in a dry place.
- In the absence of teabags, pour into an airtight mason jar and store in a dry place. strain before serving.
- This can be stored for more than 3 months if dried properly.
