Aloe vera is quite a popular kid in the beauty industry. You’ve seen the juices, extracts, capsules/supplements, and maybe even the plant. The NCCIH states that an aloe vera is “a cactus-like plant that grows in hot dry climates”.

The aloe vera in my backyard garden is green and long and for the first time, I noticed last summer, they have very good-looking flowers. They are also spiky on the sides and the plant itself has a plush/soft leathery feel to it. Like a soft leather long spiky tube with squishy gel in it.

Side note: I wonder if the skin of the leather can be used in garment making. Let me know in the comment if it already is in use for garment construction. That would be nice.
